ABOUT
Bianca Ornelas is from Pomona, California. She received her Bachelor’s in Communications- Public Relations, from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. During her years as an undergraduate, Bianca teamed up with a group of kindergarten teachers from the Philadelphia Elementary School, to develop a workbook, flashcards, and cartoon characters for an educational video. The educational video and workbook are still used today in the Philadelphia Elementary School. Soon after graduating, Bianca jumped into freelancing as a visual artist with clients like: Levi's, National Football League - 2022 Super Bowl, CBS Studios, Professional Esports Organization: Team Liquid, 2021 Compton City Mayor Campaign, and Substance Media.

Her work has been highlighted by many social media accounts such as Buzzfeed, FIERCE by Mitú, Los Angeles Magazine, Hellogiggles, and many more. During the 2020 pandemic, Bianca volunteered as an art teacher for the Inland Valley Down Syndrome Association.

When not working with multiple organizations, you can find her creating large chalk murals on the pavement at The Pasadena Chalk Festival. Out of hundreds of participants at the festival, Bianca has won twice for “Best Use of Color” and for "Best Rendition of a Masterpiece".
She is currently the Art Director for the Pasadena-based nonprofit organization, Light Bringer Project.
